912/911 Series Architectural Cabinet Convectors
The 912/911 Series cabinet convectors are designed to heat large commercial spaces. They provide large amounts of heat without the fan noise associated with unit heaters.
Units may be mounted to the wall, flush on the floor or on pedestals. 912 Series units can be fully recessed when the front warm air outlet option is used. These units are not for residential use in the United States.
The sloped-top cabinet on the 911 Series prevents objects from being set on top of the heater, which can restrict airflow and cause overheating.
A finished back mounting plate is available so that the unit can be mounted against glass walls to prevent cold downdrafts.
For three-phase units a double pole relay or thermostat is required.
Standard Construction Features
Carbon steel elements with aluminum fins float on high temperature nylon bushings for quiet operation. Stainless steel elements with aluminum fins on elements rated 1500 watts and above. Average watt density is 1000 W/ft (3280 W/m). Low watt density elements of 750 W/ft (2460 W/m) are also available.
Cabinet is constructed of 20-gauge steel with a 16-gauge steel front cover. The unit has an epoxy-polyester powder paint finish in white or almond. Mounting holes are provided along the back of the cabinet for wall installation.
The fresh air inlet grille is located on the front of the unit. An extruded aluminum outlet grille discourages tampering with the heating elements.
Linear limit, automatic reset thermal cutout.
