Designed for the maintenance of temperature and for minimizing the buildup of moisture inside enclosures containing sensitive equipment, switchgear space heaters can be a good replacement for strip heaters, as well as other, less efficient types of heaters. Heatrex switchgear space heaters offer the benefits of long life elements and corrosion resistant mounting brackets. Switchgear space heaters are typically less costly than strip heaters, yet offer excellent efficiency.

Our switchgear space heaters feature alloy sheathed tubular elements, top-quality nickel chromium resistance wire, perforated plated-steel shrouds, grade "A" magnesium oxide, and numerous mounting holes on Type 1. Optional features include custom wattages, voltages, dimensions, and sizes. Other optional features are available, such as moisture-resistant vulcanized terminals with lead wires, as well as custom-designed mounting brackets and shrouds.

Heatrex switchgear space heaters are easy to install. They can be easily mounted to cabinets by simply using the perforated holes. Type 1 terminals have convenient #8-32 screw tabs for easily accessible electric connections.
