Product Information

Heating Elements
From tubular element heaters to control panels, we are experts in the manufacture of electric heat elements. We serve a variety of both national and international customers, and are happy to take on businesses of all sizes.

Bolt Heaters
Bolt heaters are designed for use in the preheating of sizable, hollow holding bolts or studs. Typically used in manufacturing, assembling, and servicing steam or pressure equipment, turbines, and hydraulic presses, bolt heaters are essential when a high concentration of heat is required for optimal bolt expansion over a brief amount of time.

Circulation Heaters
Circulation heaters are designed to provide effective, controlled heating to water, oil, steam, and certain gases. Self-contained circulation heaters are compact and can be used for a variety of applications, including, but not limited to, the heating of washroom or dishwashing water, storage tanks, power generation, and pollution control equipment. They are also commonly used to heat oil for the improvement of flow, enhanced atomization, and better process efficiency.

Finned Tubular Heating Elements
Considered the most versatile, durable, and reliable of all heating mechanisms, finned tubular heating elements are an excellent heat source for a wide variety of purposes. At Heatrex, our finned tubular heating elements are manufactured using top-quality materials and provide a steady and secure heat source to suit your particular needs.

Defrost Heaters
Our straight-length defrost heaters are typically employed to defrost coils and evaporating pans. This type of heater can be clamped to tanks, pipes, or coils. Our cartridge-type heaters are made to be inserted into the holes in coil fins. Both types are constructed with care and quality and are simple to install.

Duct Heaters
Tubular duct heaters are used in a variety of installations that require higher air temperatures to accomplish drying, baking, and preheating. High temperature duct heaters are also used in annealing and dehumidification as well. Finned tubular duct heaters are used when lower-temperature process heating is required, as well as for recirculating ovens.

Enclosure Heaters
Good for the prevention of freezing as well as for protection against condensation buildup, enclosure heaters are used in cabinets and types of enclosures in which effective temperature control is desirable. In addition to freeze prevention and condensation control, enclosure heaters are used for a variety of applications including panel warming, drying chambers, ATM machines, and signal boxes.

Finned Heaters
Designed for use in natural and forced convection space heating, as well as industrial process air heating, finned heaters are sold both straight length or formed. Finned heaters allow for increased heat transfer surface area and overall higher wattage than non-finned units. Featuring rugged construction, finned heaters can be used in a multitude of industrial environments. Finned tubular heaters are well-suited to everything from curing in ovens to air heating in ducts.

Flanged Heaters
Designed to be mounted through the side of tanks and pressure vessels, flanged heaters use standard pipe flanges, with pipe sizes ranging from two to 24 inches. Available in a multitude of sizes, rates, and configurations, flanged immersion heaters can be adapted for use in heating a wide variety of liquids, gases, and oils. Flanged heaters can also be used in the heating of water and air.

Immersion Heaters
For heating liquids, such as water, oil, alkalis, and some acids, electric immersion heaters are considered the best option. Electric immersion heaters are well-suited to heating various salt, chemical, and electroplating solutions as well. Electrical immersion heaters are available as over-the-side, screw plug, and flanged heaters. This type of heater can be formed into a variety of shapes and is easy to install in vessels and tanks.

Industrial Electric Heaters
Used to heat a variety of materials, industrial electric heaters come in a vast selection of sizes and formations. Industrial heaters are used for myriad purposes, from heating tanks filled with liquids and gases to warming warehouses and exposed areas. From comfort heating to immersion heating, industrial heaters handle it all, heating everything from air and gases to oils and water.

Industrial Heater Elements
At Heatrex, we provide you with all the information you need to make the best choices concerning heating elements. Careful consideration of watt density is necessary in the design of industrial heating elements. Described as the wattage per unit of the heated surface area, watt density is typically identified in W/in2 or W/cm2. There is much variation in the range of watt density, and each electric heating element has its own individual watt density characteristics.

Industrial Heating Elements
You can depend on us at Heatrex to provide you with not only the best industrial heating elements around, but also customer service that will keep you coming back to us for years to come. Whether you require standard heating elements or need custom work, we stand ready to assist you.

Flanged Immersion Heaters
Flanged immersion heaters are used in the heating of oil, water, and other types of liquid solutions. They are also well-suited to the heating requirements of air and gases. Manufactured for use in pressure vessels and various process tanks, flanged immersion heaters are available in a wide variety of sizes, rates, and materials.

Infrared Electric Heaters
Infrared electric heaters are perfect for providing solutions for comfort heating in exposed areas, including outdoors. Infrared heaters are commonly used in factories, bus stations, airport boarding areas, swimming pools, ice-skating rinks, loading docks and even on sidewalks. They are also popular for ski resorts, outdoor cafes, and garages.

Screw Plug Heaters
Used for the heating of liquids and gases in various processes, screw plug immersion heaters offer energy-efficient direct immersion heat. Screw plug immersion heaters are well-suited for process water heating and freeze prevention. They also work well for heating oils and heat-transfer solutions.

Screw Plug Immersion Heaters
Selecting screw plug immersion heaters requires the careful consideration of the intended application to determine optimal plug and sheath material, as well as the correct wattage density. At Heatrex, our screw plug heaters are ideal for direct immersion heating of liquids. Our screw heaters, as well as the rest of our heating products, are built for both safety and efficiency.

Strip Heaters
Strip heaters are a versatile choice for thousands of applications. They are good for providing surface contact heating over broad areas. Considered both easy and economical to install, strip heaters are commonly used in ovens and cabinet warming, with load resistors, and for protection against moisture.

Switchgear Heaters
Designed for the maintenance of temperature and for minimizing the buildup of moisture inside enclosures containing sensitive equipment, switchgear space heaters can be a good replacement for strip heaters, as well as other, less efficient types of heaters. Heatrex switchgear space heaters offer the benefits of long life elements and corrosion resistant mounting brackets. Switchgear space heaters are typically less costly than strip heaters, yet offer excellent efficiency.

Tubular Elements
For maximum versatility, dependability, and rugged construction, you couldn't ask for better heat generating devices than tubular heating elements. Because they are well suited to a large variety of applications, tubular elements can be found at the core of many modern heating solutions. Easily formed into numerous shapes and providing for precise heat output control, tubular elements have earned a solid reputation for excellence in a number of applications.
