Flanged Heaters

Designed to be mounted through the side of tanks and pressure vessels, flanged heaters use standard pipe flanges, with pipe sizes ranging from 2 to 24 inches. Available in a multitude of sizes, rates, and configurations, flanged immersion heaters can be adapted for use in heating a wide variety of liquids, gases, and oils. Flanged heaters can also be used in the heating of water and air.

At Heatrex, our flanged heaters are constructed of hairpin-shaped tubular elements, welded or brazed into a pipe flange of carbon steel or other specified alloys. Our standard flanges are designed and constructed to meet ANSI pipe flame specification B 16.5. For wiring, we use heavy-duty copper jumper straps and terminal connections to allow for optimum current-carrying capacity and super-tight connections.

We provide NEMA 1, NEMA 4, NEMA4X, and NEMA 7 terminal housings for all our standard units. We also offer numerous variations and modifications to meet the needs of varied applications.
